Starting Monday, an Idol-free day in the TV universe, fans can pre-order American Idol's Top 24's vocal performances through iTunes.

Unlike the rest of iTunes, where shows and tracks are ranked by popularity, the site isn't releasing any sales information about American Idol.
According to the Idol's iTunes store the reason is to maintain Fox New Channel-esque decorum - which means...
"iTunes and Fox are committed to presenting contestants in a fair and balanced manner online and on-air," the site says. "For this reason, sales performances from American Idol contestants from the current season will not be reflected in the iTunes charts."
The Top 24's audio tracks are selling for 99 cents each. As of Mar. 11, videos of the show's Top 12 finalists will be available for $1.99 per clip.
iTunes has long aided Idol music. Jordin Sparks has struggled to sell albums but she has received a lot of downloads. As of this week "Tattoo", her new single stood at 24 on iTunes Top Songs chart.
