Asia'h Epperson - American Idol

Will Asia'h Epperson be American Idol's season seven winner?

Celebrity News, Videos, Photos

With the completion of the pre Hollywood screening rounds American Idol now moves on to California in order to trim 160 plus contestants down to the final 24 Idols. This list will be made up of the top 12 girls and the top 12 boys.

Asia'h has both the looks and singing ability to pull it off but more than this she has the early lead in the sympathy vote as her father was killed in a car crash just two days before her Atlanta audition. The news of this effected all the judges, none more so than Paula Abdul who wept openly and had to leave the set momentarily. It was a touching moment as Asia'h sang "How Do I Live" by Leanne Rimes for her late father.

Did you shed a tear for Asia'h? Hard not too...

Keep an eye on this 18 year old from Joplin, MO. Unlike most of the other contestants rumored to be in the top 24 Asia'h seems to be a true walk in talent. Rumor has it that the Top 24 list has been leaked to the internet and most of the finalists are professional singers - many having previous recording contracts. After poor performances last year American Idol has promised a better result this year - hence the sudden influx of singers who are already earning a living in the music industry.

There are few pics of Asia'h as of this posting but rest assured that Photo Gallery's of this sweet young lady will begin appearing all over the internet. As usual American Idol has aready removed Asia'h's myspace page - a sure sign she is in the final 24.

I still cannot believe that you are no longer on Idol. You had it all - amazing vocal ability, beauty, charm, charisma and sexiness. I don't understand how America thinks with this show. Anyway, I hope to hear you on our top 40 station in the near future and hopefully see you on TV somewhere. Sincerely, A Huge Fan

She's simply the most wonderful singer of this season and yet she is out of the show. What a travesty!
